Flag day to raise funds for Jamiyah Children's home on wednesday. Met Priscilla at 7am for mac breakfast. Never thought I'd be able to get up on time and run on only 3 hrs of sleep. On top of that , I had swollen eyes and heavy dark eye rings + eyebags :( Surprise Surprise, my day went well. Must've been karma,for all the charity I did that day.
Gathered with fellow volunteers for a briefing and to collect our donation cans, tags & stickers before parting ways.Paired with priscilla, we headed to Bishan and got down to work. Surprise x2 ! We both thought we would wander off after filling up say..1/4 of the tin can,but rather, it was quite the opposite. We were both spontaneously asking passer-bys for donation till our backs & feet ached in protest. Hmm, if only i could be this hardworking in my studies.. (#randomthought)

12pm saw us at a traffic junction in toa payoh after our turf in bishan got taken over by other volunteers during our break. :( Initial plan was to hop down to orchard but while waiting for the bus to orchard , a double decker bus to toa payoh drove up and ahhh..we got excited and up we go. Merely sitting on the second deck and looking down at the world below brought us much joy.
Continued asking for donations at tpy till time is up and we had to go back to assemble :)
Went for lunch at Yoshinoya + catching up/bitching/gossiping session that lasted abt 4hrs (!) with yeewah,fengting,xinying & priscilla ♥
