Taiwan day 2

Hello! I'm finally doing day 2 ! :)
So day 2 saw us joining a one-day tour, provided by whichever company we booked our air tickets + hotels from :)
Do the chinese characters look familar, fellow schoolmates?
I looked realllllly crappy that morning, I couldnt smile properly and...wth my eyes look tiny ? -3- Prolly cause I only managed to grab 5hrs of shuteye ? So, we visited this memorial hall, named after an ex-president by then name of chung cheng. Yes,my school's name is actually a president's name LOL. And its written in the exact same characters too!(中正)

Flowers bloomed in winter. How rare.
We headed to somewhere else(no idea where) to enjoy a short parade by their marine navy.
Next, we headed to jiufen market , located on a seaside hill. The entire town/village was on a hill by the sea! Like what I always see in action movies. Have always wanted to visit such towns & I finally got to!
LOL. why is my dad looking at me like that. & it was purely coincidental that I was looking in his direction .
Tried lotsa local delicacies in jiufen.
Had a break at this cosy eatery that makes you feel instantly at home!
This man shaves off some maltose candied peanuts for this taste bud shocker. Candied peanuts + two scoops of frozen yogurt (mango and green tea in this case) + fresh cilantro + rice wrap. I couldnt get enough of it!

-inserting a random picture of me taken in a back/side alley-
Wintermelon tea in that pot.
Meat patty wrapped in transparent rice gluten.
Sharing flavoured flour/rice balls in soup :)
More smelly tofu~
We headed to the well-known shilin night market next.
XXL large fried chicken. Tastes sinfully good and the queue was INSANE.
White bittergourd instead of the green ones we know. The juice actually tastes pretty good.
Chocolate fountain which I dipped my fruit kebab in to! :)

So, this posts pretty much sums up day 2. A shorter post compared to day 1 :)
Look out for day3 ! Prolly will be done tomorrow or next weekend. :x
