Taiwan day 1

Hello! :3 

I'm finally getting around to blogging about Taiwan! :) No pictures of me at the airport coz I had no makeup + no lenses on. Sorry la, I'm insecure :'( 

We took Singapore airlines to & fro if anyone wants to know :)

Singapore skies during departure, bright and sunny. (:

Taiwan , Taoyuan's skies during arrival , wintry ,grey & cloudy. ): It drizzled when we alighted! :(

When we alighted, someone was at the airport to pick us up & have us sent to our hotel.We resided at East Dragon Hotel, situated right at the entrance of Xi Men Ding!!! Which is somewhat like Singapore's very own bugis street. Except, Xi men ding houses labels like Nike,Nature republic, Thefaceshop etc.

 Damn convenient please!!

Not wanting to waste any time, cos time is money (!) haha, we left for Xi men ding after depositing our luggages into our respective rooms. 

First stop at Xi men ding : Ah-chung noodles!! You might or might not have heard of it but its superrr famous!

Everyday ,there's sure to be loooong queues . I know cuz I went back on the 3rd & 4th day to eat hehe, we couldnt get enough of it. yummm

We were sharing the food cuz we knew if we didnt do so, we'd be too full for more food hahaha.

Basically, we ate at whichever stall that has long queues cos that's how we know the food was too good to be missed. :p

And anywayy, if any of you realized, I'm the only one in the family who has got no winter jacket/coat on and is dressed only in normal clothes! ^^v Super proud of the fact that I'm strong hahaha. Instead, I stuffed my winter jacket into my bag,which is damn spacious ! The temperature was only 14deg so it wasnt that cold. Good thing it wasnt super cold cos none of us brought gloves wtf!! I'd totally forgotten about mine. 

It got dark at only 5pm cos it was winter .

We took the mertro (train) to Taipei 101! :) 101 wasnt as awesome as I expected though..

Outside taipei 101, k in the end I did put on my winter jacket hahaha. So much for being haolian. Night time too cold !

My bro & dad paid the entrance fee to go up to the 101 tower while me & my mum shopped in the malls below. Handed the camera to my brother and almost every shot he took was blurry -3-

SO..I guess the yellow thing is the "super big wind damper" ?

Headed to our first night market ( we toured 4 in all!!) , Raohe night market.

Greetings from little black riding hood. It was raining hence the furry hood.

Having our first taste of the famous, or infamous smelly tofu ^^ My brother LOVED it. I thought it was still okayyy~

We headed back to the hotel after that and my mum dozed off right after washing up while I spent the next 2 hrs tryna login to facebook to contact bby -.-
